Never Give Up

I've worked on my book for over a decade. Yes, you read that right—over a decade.

In that time, God called me to mentor and coach other writers, speak at conferences, and advocate for people of color in the publishing industry. More than once, I asked Him, "When is it my turn to publish?" His silence answered, "Not yet."

Recently, I heard of a new publishing company called Dressed for Love. The more I listened and talked to founder Katherine Hutchinson-Hayes, the more excited I became for her vision. Then I felt God's nudge. "Now."

Katherine and I spoke some more. She offered me a contract. I said yes.

Never give up. If God has called you to write, trust Him for the right time to publish and the right publishing partner.

This story is a heartfelt journey through love, loss, and the beauty of finding where we truly belong. The book paints a picture of faith, family, and the moments that remind us what "home" really means.
